Despite my uniform Jimmy Choos, I’m a country girl who got her start in agriculture. As an equine and cattle nutritionist, I worked in fields all over the Midwest before moving to the East Coast.
With a degree in Business & Marketing, I always gravitated toward planning and design. I started working with a floral catering company while planning my own wedding and continued to be pulled by the magnetism of working with people during their life’s high points.
When I’m not fussing over the finer details of an event, I’m dancing with my husband in our farmhouse kitchen, spoiling our dogs, and tending to our animals.
I think my tolerance for working long hours comes from farm life. Animals and people alike need special care and attention. And there’s no end to the day until the work is done.
