A chic, artfully designed celebration blending natural, neutral elements from Cabo with bright pops of color: full of intentional design, rich texture, and distinctive, elevated details.
After an unforgettable week in Cabo, Lianne and Jordan’s wedding day had finally arrived. Every celebration leading up to this moment hinted at what was to come. However, nothing could have prepared guests for the immersive experience that awaited. Inspired by life beneath the sea, every detail felt playful, artistic, and completely unique to the couple.

Long before guests arrived in Cabo, Lianne and Jordan gave everyone a glimpse into their wedding vision. Their save the date featured a vellum envelope with a colorful die-cut jellyfish tucked inside. It was playful, unexpected, and instantly had guests buzzing about the wedding weekend ahead.
The invitation suite was just as memorable. A chartreuse and brown invitation card paired perfectly with a colorful illustrated details card. Every illustration represented a special part of the couple’s story. A mermaid honored Lianne’s background as a ballet dancer. Jordan appeared as an octopus playing the guitar, celebrating his love of music. Even the pufferfish featured Comal’s logo, offering a fun nod to where the reception would be held.

As guests arrived for the ceremony overlooking the Sea of Cortez, they were immediately immersed in the couple’s vision. A custom wooden aisle led everyone toward an incredible chuppah. It was covered in vibrant red coral, lush greenery that mimicked seaweed, and metallic silver and turquoise florals. Every detail embraced the under the sea inspiration while still allowing the ocean views to shine.
Before finding their seats, guests were invited to grab handwritten letters addressed personally to them by Lianne and Jordan. Then, during the ceremony, the rabbi asked everyone to open their letters at the same time. Each note was filled with heartfelt memories and kind words. There truly wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It was easily one of the most meaningful moments of the entire weekend.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour, where the under the sea story continued. Signature cocktails were served upon arrival, including one served inside fresh coconuts featuring the couple’s custom jellyfish logo.
The bar became one of the standout design moments. It was wrapped in custom vinyl featuring the whimsical sea creatures from the invitation suite. An artistic floral installation framed the bar beautifully. Hand-painted florals were nestled throughout the colorful piece, creating a true work of art.

As guests enjoyed cocktails and the lively sounds of the mariachi band, they made their way to the escort display. Designed to resemble a sea of jellyfish, each guest found a personalized acrylic jelly featuring their name on the front and table number on the back. After finding their seat, they got to take the jellyfish home as a keepsake from the celebration. It was such a fun, interactive detail and one guests couldn’t stop talking about.

As cocktail hour continued, Lianne and Jordan slipped away for newlywed portraits. The sun began setting beautifully over the Sea of Cortez, creating the dreamiest backdrop imaginable.
Lianne looked absolutely stunning in her Danielle Frankel gown. Her sculptural bouquet perfectly complemented the artistic silhouette of her dress. She completed the look with a Danielle Frankel hand-painted veil that tied everything together beautifully. Jordan kept things timeless in a classic black tuxedo paired with Christian Louboutin shoes. Together, they looked effortlessly chic against Cabo’s breathtaking coastline.

Instead of completely transforming Comal’s layout, we embraced the restaurant’s existing design. This allowed the architecture and ocean views to remain part of the experience. We created two unique tablescapes that blended Cabo’s natural textures with vibrant pops of color. Neutral elements allowed the florals and colorful table numbers to truly stand out. Every layer felt intentional, artistic, and full of texture.

The menus stole the show. Each guest opened a custom clam shell to reveal the illustrated mermaid and octopus from the invitation suite. Inside, the couple’s dinner menu completed the interactive experience. It was one of those details guests couldn’t stop talking about.
As the sun disappeared, the atmosphere completely transformed. Wave-inspired pinspot lighting washed across the space, creating the feeling of dining beneath the sea. Combined with Comal’s stunning waterfront views, the effect was absolutely magical.

Following dinner, everyone made their way to the dance floor. A custom seashell stage backdrop became the focal point of the room. It featured one of the couple’s custom linen prints by Lola Valentina and was framed with rich chocolate draping. Above the dance floor, three custom orchid installations by Tsemko floated overhead, adding even more drama to the space.
Nearby, the dessert display was just as impressive. The couple’s incredible wedding cake was surrounded by bite-sized desserts served on seashells. Guests loved grabbing a sweet treat before heading back to the dance floor.

The surprises didn’t stop there. Jordan grabbed the microphone and guitar before taking the stage for an unforgettable performance. He absolutely crushed it, and the reception instantly turned into a private concert.

Before the night came to a close, Lianne had one final surprise in store. With Jordan’s birthday just one day away, candles were added to their wedding cake before everyone gathered around to sing “Happy Birthday” to the weekend’s rockstar.
To end the reception on a high note, espresso martini shots made their way around the room, giving guests one last boost before the after-party began.

The After Party
To end the night, the celebration continued at Comal’s underground bar Comal’s underground bar for the after-party. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with Pedialytes and coconut water before making their way to the bar.

Late-night bites included grilled cheese, tacos, nachos, chicken sliders, grilled corn, and plenty of other favorites. Throughout the night, the DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long. Lianne and Jordan danced on the bar alongside their closest friends, soaking in every final moment of an unforgettable wedding weekend.
