A few weeks ago, our team attended the soft launch of The Manor 1858, a stunning new luxury event venue. This renovated stone barn is nestled in the heart of Loudoun County. As wedding planners, we always seek unique venues that offer unforgettable experiences, and The Manor 1858 delivered.
One of the standout features of The Manor 1858 is its capacity for overnight accommodations, hosting up to eight guests. This intimate setting not only adds charm but also enhances the sense of exclusivity for various gatherings, whether it’s a small wedding, a corporate retreat, or a family celebration. The thoughtfully designed interiors blend modern luxury and classic elegance, creating an ideal setting for ceremonies and receptions. For larger groups, the venue has exciting news!
Their sister property, Hotel Burg, will open in Leesburg, Virginia, in summer 2025, offering extra accommodations for Loudon County visitors.
Of course, a luxurious venue deserves an equally impressive dining experience, and The Manor 1858, without a doubt, exceeded our expectations in this regard. Guests were treated to a fabulous dinner that showcased a remarkable selection of dishes. One standout was the spiced duck with sweet potato cake, accompanied by greens and apple butter—a beautiful combination of flavors that delighted the palate. However, our favorite dish of the evening was undoubtedly the housemade sourdough pasta. This incredible dish featured charred corn and old bay-seasoned lump crab, a perfect homage to the region’s seafood bounty. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and expertly crafted, leaving us all wanting seconds!
We are truly grateful for the invitation to this exclusive event, which allowed us to learn about the venue and experience its offerings firsthand. The Manor 1858 promises to be a stunning choice for couples looking for a luxurious and intimate setting in Loudoun County. As we left the venue, we couldn’t help but envision the wonderful events we could host here. We are excited to see how The Manor 1858 will shape the local event scene and look forward to getting the opportunity to creating some magic here!
