We had the pleasure of spending the day at Hotel Burg, the newest boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Leesburg. We were invited for a FAM trip to explore the property, meet their team, and experience what this stunning new hotel has to offer. And let’s just say — it did not disappoint.
From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the thoughtful design in every corner of the space. Hotel Burg seamlessly blends old Virginia charm with modern luxury. It is housed across three beautifully restored buildings, including a historic 1885 home. Every space tells a story — textured walls, antique pieces, curated artwork, and warm, moody lighting that feels both intimate and sophisticated. As planners and designers, we’re always on the lookout for venues that inspire creativity, and Hotel Burg does exactly that. Each guest room feels unique and personal, more like a private residence than a hotel. Their suites especially caught our attention — perfect for your “getting ready” moments, portraits, or even an intimate first look before the ceremony.
We toured their event spaces and immediately started imagining how our couples could make the most of them. The Community Room can host up to 100 guests. The Boardroom is perfect for smaller, more intimate gatherings. The property offers flexibility while maintaining its elegant style. Just outside of town, The Manor 1858 sits on 22 acres and features a restored stone barn. A dream setting for an outdoor ceremony or countryside reception with timeless Virginia charm!
And then there’s the culinary experience. The on-site restaurant, The Huntōn, led by Chef Vincent Badiee (formerly of a Michelin-starred kitchen), highlights local ingredients and open-fire cooking. Between The Huntōn, the inviting Diana Lounge, and the rooftop bar overlooking downtown Leesburg, the food and beverage offerings are exceptional—and full of potential for pre-wedding dinners, cocktail hours, or after-parties.
What we loved most about Hotel Burg is how naturally it fits the weddings we love to create. Each space feels elevated, thoughtful, and full of character. The architecture and design already tell a beautiful story. They create the perfect foundation for layered textures, florals, and intentional details. Everything feels refined without ever feeling overdone. It’s ideal for couples dreaming of a luxurious escape just outside D.C. The setting still captures Virginia’s timeless charm. Imagine rooftop welcome cocktails, a countryside ceremony at The Manor 1858, and an intimate dinner back at the hotel. Candlelight and history make it all unforgettable.
Our team left the FAM trip so inspired and excited about all the possibilities this venue has to offer. Hotel Burg is a fresh, stylish addition to Virginia’s wedding scene. We can’t wait to help a couple create something truly special here!
