2020 has been quite the year – especially in the wedding planning industry. Jillian and Tanner not only had to postpone their wedding, but also cut back on their guest count. However, how they celebrated their love among all of the pandemic regulations, postponements, and cut down guest lists, was so special and so dreamy.
Jillian and Tanner wanted to be able to celebrate their special day with all of their family, but with a limit on how many people could attend social gatherings, it took some creativity. They decided, that after the wedding rehearsal, they would have a large dinner for guests who were not going to be able to make it to the actual wedding the next day, held at Tranquility Farm in Purcellville, VA. With a guest list of 46 people, the rest was up to us. We have always dreamed of designing an Italian al Fresco – type dinner on the back patio at Tranquility, so Krysta from Krysta Norman Photography and I did just that.
The farm tables were from Local Wood VA, and the chairs were antiques from Tranquility. The fact that all the chairs looked different really added to the unique look we were going for. Greenery on the table was from Bee’s Wing Farm and was definitely a focal point of our table. Once that was placed, everything else was able to fall into place.

Wedding planning right now is stressful as there are many unknowns, but there are so many ways you can still celebrate with friends and family the way you deserve!
