Last spring, we had the absolute pleasure of attending Tra Amici. A wedding vendor event planned and designed by Lauren Corrigan hosted at the stunning Evergreen Museum.
The design details were effortlessly chic and perfectly on-theme. Tomatoes nestled into rustic baskets were used as décor—simple, unexpected, and incredibly charming. They were paired with lush red and yellow florals that brought warmth and depth to the space. Inside the tent, striped green draping created a fresh, alfresco feel. A round bar positioned at the center became a natural gathering point and the heartbeat of the event.

Designed with an Italian summer theme, Tra Amici felt like stepping straight into a lively Italian summer fête. The dress code set the tone immediately: as colorful as can be. Everywhere you looked, guests embraced bold hues, playful patterns, and joyful textures, adding to the infectious energy of the day.

One of our absolute favorites from the day was the matcha margarita. Refreshing, fun, and a little unexpected, it quickly became the drink everyone was talking about (and going back for). Guests were treated with the cutest favors, including custom orange matchboxes and napkins that felt perfectly on brand.

The food, though, truly stole the show. Zeffert and Gold delivered an unforgettable culinary experience. With interactive stations and passed hors d’oeuvres that kept guests delightfully surprised all afternoon. The handmade fresh ravioli was a standout hit, while the Boursin tomato cannolis were as delicious as they were creative. Add in perfectly prepared beef tagliata, and it was clear no detail had been overlooked. To top it all off, waiters circulated with a tiramisu station, offering a sweet treat that felt both indulgent and playful.

Tra Amici was more than just a vendor event—it was a celebration of community, creativity, and connection, all wrapped in a colorful Italian summer dream. From the thoughtful design to the incredible food and joyful atmosphere, it was the kind of event that reminds us why we love this industry so much. We’re still dreaming about it—and that matcha margarita!
