When Alex and Luke envisioned their welcome party, they wanted something intimate, relaxed, and beautiful. They wanted a gathering that mirrored the charm and elegance of their wedding day, while providing a comfortable setting for mingling with their guests. When Alex shared that she would love to hold this special occasion in her parents’ barn, our cowgirl hearts skipped a beat!
The rustic charm of the stable, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling fields, created a serene and welcoming atmosphere. We focused on a color scheme of green and white, matching the wedding day’s design and bringing a cohesive look to both events. The stable was adorned with simple yet elegant decorations. White drapes hung from the rafters, creating a soft, romantic ambiance. Green garlands and floral arrangements added fresh, natural beauty to the space.
The party was deliberately low-key, encouraging mingling and relaxed conversations. Soft background music played, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere without overpowering the sounds of laughter and chatter. Several lounge seating areas with comfortable chairs and throw blankets were set up, giving guests a place to sit back and unwind.
Alex and Luke’s welcome party was a true reflection of their personalities and their love for each other. It was a perfect prelude to their wedding day, setting the tone for the celebrations to come.
