Some weddings feel like an extension of the couple’s love story, where everything from the venue to the little in between moments speaks to who they are. That’s exactly what it felt like when planning and designing Alissa and Kobie’s wedding. Their day wasn’t just beautiful (although yes, it absolutely was). It was deeply personal, emotionally rich, and full of joyful surprises that made it so uniquely them.
We were honored to be a part of their big day, and even more excited to see it featured in

From the very beginning, Alissa and Kobie were clear on their vision. They wanted their wedding to be timeless yet deeply personal. A day that would reflect their love story and feel like a true celebration of their journey together.
Alissa and Kobie’s ceremony was one of the most heartfelt we’ve witnessed. Instead of a traditional officiant, they asked their high school choir teacher to lead them into marriage, a full circle moment from where their story began. Alissa was such a stunning bride. For her first dress, she wore a satin corset top gown that brought elegance and grace, in her structured and elegant dress, with its custom touches. Kobie, just as dashing, couldn’t stop smiling the moment he saw her walk down the aisle. Their ceremony was full of sweet moments that had everyone (including us) tearing up.

After the ceremony, guests were greeted with a few surprises that made cocktail hour feel even more personal. Kobie, known for his fun-loving personality and post-game interviews, brought that same spirit into the wedding. A post-ceremony “game interview station” invited guests to step in front of the camera and share their favorite memories, advice, or well wishes.

As servers passed cocktails around, each glass came with a Polaroid photo of the couple attached to it. We loved this idea, it was such a creative way to gift their guests a little keepsake. The seating chart, titled You Are the Music in Me, was a tribute to the love and passion Alissa and Kobie share for music. Filled with sheets of music and meaningful references, was such a beautiful way to welcome guests into the cocktail hour space.

The design was inspired by Alissa’s love of green and their shared appreciation for warm, natural textures. Their reception embraced an earthy, Italian inspired aesthetic: think soft greens, stoneware, candlelight, and an elevated but relaxed vibe. Dinner was served family-style and featured dishes like seafood ravioli, and hibachi.

As the dance floor began to wind down, the party kept going by the food stations. Guests were treated to a late-night chicken tenders station, complete with a “sauce-off” featuring favorites from Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Wingstop, Sweet Baby Ray’s, and Ken’s Food. Everyone got in on the fun, sampling and casting their votes for the ultimate sauce champion. For those with a sweet tooth, the Turners had a dessert station stocked with an irresistible assortment of Insomnia Cookies; perfect for a cozy, and delicious end to the night.
