“Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat.” — Laura Ingalls Wilder
That was definitely the case on Amanda and Tyler’s wedding day! The sun was shining down on them throughout the entire day of their outdoor wedding. Tyler and Amanda tied the knot last October in Reva, Virginia and it was just perfect in every single way. They had the most charming backyard country wedding full of cowboys, cowgirls, horses, and everything in between! Everything about their day was so undeniably gorgeous! As a country gal myself, this wedding made my heart SWELL!
Amanda looked to-die-for in her gown, and oh my heavens…that veil!!! Just breathtaking! Her bridesmaids also looked stunning in their maroon, mismatched style of dresses. I love the idea of letting the girls choose their own style dress! The girls carried the most gorgeous fall bouquets full of the most unique flowers! The florist carried that trend all throughout the reception and ceremony and I can’t think of anything more perfect for their style. Lindsey Ann Florals knocked it out of the park! Tyler and his fellas went for a simple look that I just absolutely loved! The guys wore jeans and a navy blue sport coat, and of course, Tyler had on a cowboy hat!
The decor included tons of mums, straw bales and twinkly lights. The aisle began with two old whiskey barrels topped with more of those gorgeous floral arrangements and I just could not get enough of those fall flowers. Amanda and Tyler said “I do” under the oak tree on their own property. How sweet is that?! They had the most beautiful floral installation built up the tree behind them as they were surrounded by their closest family and friends in the sweetest ceremony.
After the ceremony, it was time to party!! Their reception was held in their barn next door. It was seriously the coolest…complete with dirt floors, round bales, and more twinkly lights. The details they chose were so sweet and intricate! The head table was incredible and was decorated with white pumpkins and a few odds and ends from the florist. The whole day was such a warm gathering of family friends there to celebrate Amanda and Tyler’s love. The couple and their loved ones closed down the dance floor with a sparkler send-off and honestly, I can’t think of a more perfect ending to their beautiful day. Amanda and Tyler, I love you two so much and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
