From the moment we began planning with Maggie and Connor, it was clear that their wedding was going to be a stunning celebration of love and elegance. Held at the prestigious Army Navy Country Club in Washington, D.C., their wedding day was a perfect blend of classic sophistication and playful charm, all beautifully wrapped in shades of pink.
From the start, the wedding was a sea of pinks. Maggie’s bridesmaids wore dresses in various shades of pink, creating a beautiful gradient effect. Each bridesmaid carried a smaller version of Maggie’s bridal bouquet, adding a touch of unity and charm to the bridal party. Before the ceremony, Maggie, Connor, and their bridal party took some stunning photos around D.C. These pre-wedding moments captured the excitement and joy of the day, set against the iconic backdrops of the city.
The ceremony was nothing short of magical. Pink floral arrangements adorned the aisle, creating a lush and romantic setting. A pink grounded floral arch served as the focal point and background, for Maggie and Connor to exchange their vows. To ensure the comfort of their guests, we placed cute pink fans on each ceremony chair, adding both a practical and decorative touch. Maggie looked like an absolute dream in her ruffled white bridal dress, exuding elegance and grace. Connor, in his sharp black tuxedo, was the perfect complement, looking every bit the dashing groom.
Following a delightful cocktail hour, the reception was a dream come true. Tall pink draping added a sense of grandeur to the space, and the pink cherry blossom tree at the center of their rounded bar was a showstopper. The entire room was bathed in a rosy glow, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.
Maggie made a stylish entrance into the reception by removing the top layer of tulle around her arms and dress, and slipped on the cutest feathery white gloves. This touch of glamour set the tone for the evening’s festivities. Halfway through the night, she made another stunning transformation, changing into a sequined short white dress with a feathery top and sequined silver cowgirl boots. Her outfit change was met with cheers and added an extra layer of fun and sparkle to the night.
