As wedding planners, we often find ourselves swept away by the love stories we get to be a part of, and Peggy and Tony’s wedding was definitely one of favorite ones. Their celebration at Monte Ventoso in Madison, Virginia, was a picturesque Italian getaway that left everyone in awe.
The day began with Peggy and Tony’s first look—a moment so sweet and touching that it brought tears to their eyes. Seeing each other for the first time, they couldn’t hold back their emotions, and neither could we! They decided to read their vows privately before the ceremony, a personal and intimate moment that set the tone for the day.
From the moment Peggy walked down the aisle, she took everyone’s breath away. Her stunning beauty was matched only by the love in Tony’s eyes as he stood at the altar, waiting to marry the love of his life. The excitement and deep affection they shared were palpable, and the ceremony was nothing short of a dream. Set on the front steps of the villa, Peggy and Tony exchanged vows amidst a backdrop of beautiful greenery and white florals adorning the staircase. It was a scene straight out of a fairy tale, with the villa’s charm adding to the romantic atmosphere.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful cocktail hour by the pool. Their signature cocktails like Aperol Spritz, Hugo Spritz, and the olive bar perfectly tied into the Italian theme. The laughter and joy shared during this time set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The reception was an al fresco dream come true. Bistro lights twinkled overhead, casting a warm glow along the beautiful tablescapes. Smaller floral centerpieces added a touch of elegance, creating an intimate and inviting ambiance. The attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring every aspect of the evening was as magical as the love story it celebrated.
Dinner was followed by a delightful surprise as Peggy reemerged in a fun sequined silver dress, ready to dance the night away. The espresso bar kept guests energized, while the late-night Taco Bell added a playful and delicious twist to the night.
