Courtney and Kyle tied the knot at the gorgeous Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia. After multiple postponements, we were so ready to watch them say I Do on the most beautiful sunny day.
Great Marsh Estate is absolutely beautiful. In total, the venue has over 120 acres of land, including the manor house, the stables, beautiful courtyards, and a huge perfectly kept lawn. The courtyard is the perfect back drop for a stunning wedding ceremony. In order to make use of all of the land, Courtney and Kyle decided to hold their ceremony in the courtyard behind the house, while having cocktail hour in the courtyard that is located in the front of the house, and there reception was on the covered patio behind the stables.
The wedding was so sweet! It was officiated by their close friend. Although the wind was crazy, you could just tell that Courtney and Kyle have so much love for each other. Because of COVID restrictions, not everyone was able to stay for the reception, but Courtney and Kyle wanted to be able to share the day with those they love, so they were able to bring them out for the ceremony. Having the extra bit of love watching them tie the knot was so special and showed that even COVID wasn’t going to keep them from having the day of their dreams.
The reception was held on the back patio of the stables area. It was such a great atmosphere and so laid back. Yard games were set up in a back area and there was space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The toasts were amazing. They really do have the best friends and family and you could tell that everyone was so happy to be celebrating them on their special day. We have loved getting to know Courtney and Kyle over the last two years, COVID may have put their wedding on pause a couple times, but through it all we ended up with a beautiful night celebrating a beautiful couple.
